Busslehner Sports has been shaping the sports culture at Lake Achensee for over 60 years. From the beginnings as a small family business to a modern full-service provider for winter sports, we can look back on a history rich in tradition and many milestones. 1964
Hans Busslehner fulfills a small dream and, with the support of his wife Walli, opens the ski school in Achenkirch.
1969
With the opening of the Christlum high-altitude lifts, winter tourism is developing at an ever-faster pace and business is booming.
1974
The company moves into its first building, which houses a ski school, ski rental, sports shop, and guest house.
1980
Renovation and expansion of the sports store.
1990
With the opening of the Christlum ski rental shop, Busslehner Service is now even closer to the slopes.
1992
Daughter Martina takes over the ski school.
2000
Founder Hans Busslehner leaves behind an ever-expanding company.
2004
Following further renovation work, the sports store now has a new façade.
2007
At the “ServiceCheckpoint” with state-of-the-art service machines, we guarantee even more fun on the slopes.
2008
Christian Busslehner becomes ski school director.
2013
Martina Bauer and Christian Busslehner are the managing directors of Busslehner Sports.
2014
Walli Busslehner is celebrated on her 70th birthday as the heart and soul of Busslehner Sports and can look back on 50 successful years with the company.
2024
Busslehner Sport looks back on 60 successful years and is well equipped for the future thanks to renewable energies such as photovoltaic systems.
